A Simple 5-Step Process To Draw
Why learn ART ?
Art for Kids
Art is amazing! Art is one of the first things in a child's learning and development cycle. What a child can do is pick up a pencil and start drawing. And as technologies are becoming much more advanced and easily accessible to children and their families, it brings with them many new ways to learn creative skills and develop. We see drawing as one of the most fundamental of these skills.
Every kid is an artist within. All we need is to nourish their creative side and let them flourish. We must help them with the kind of tools and knowledge they need to guide them through their most innovative and creative journey.
Benefits of Art for kids
Drawing develops creativity
Drawing is creative and hence it enables your child’s imagination to become more imaginative. Every time they draw something they use their imagination and make physical representations of what’s in their mind. People’s imaginations have allowed them to create all of the things that we use and are surrounded by everyday.
Drawing makes children expressive
Children may not have a large collection of words to express their emotions. Hence, children can’t always express themselves using words and actions, so they take help off drawing as another means of communication. Being able to express what they feel also boosts a child’s emotional intelligence.
Drawing develops problem solving skills
We all need problem solving skills and it is developed in various ways. While making an art, a child is faced with many challenges and need to take multiple decisions- whether it’s ‘what colour should I use?’ or ‘How do I draw a fruit?’ or ‘What kind of colour should I use?’ All these questions require them to solve these problems.
Art Materials for kids
To begin with, all that kids need is a piece of paper and a pencil. However, they will need more than that to learn drawing and painting. Click on the image to find out a complete list of materials.

Getting Sociable
Art can make you more sociable. As we adults learn a lot of from how other people use pencil or brush, joining an Art Class is a great way to meet people with shared interests with different abilities. Taking out the time to socialise and make new friends doing an activity you love can have countless benefits for your long-term mental health and happiness, giving you the much-needed emotional lift you need at the end of a long day.
